DESCRIPTION
Petty Love Productions is in search of a Music Director for their upcoming production of Songs for a New World by Jason Robert Brown
Show Dates: Friday, November 6th & Saturday, November 7th
Required Dates: Initial Music rehearsals would be slated for October 12-16, 2026. Tech Week would be November 2-5. No additional availability would be required, but would welcome attendance at any additional rehearsals between 10/16 and 11/2.
Outlined Responsibilities: Teaching music leveraging provided score (ability to play piano is mandatory). Intent would be for hired MD to help with pit procurement (a separate budget would be provided). It is preferred for hired MD to double as a pit musician for shows, but not mandatory if all pieces can be covered within allocated budget.
Rehearsal Locations: Clark, NJ, Rahway, NJ or Scotch Plains, NJ

Location:
Villager's Theater in Somerset, NJ
Stipend: $350, inclusive of travel (plus additional budget to secure pit musicians. There's some negotiation room in this price within reason)
