Environmental Health and Safety Specialist IV

Our client, is seeking a Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join their team. As a Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will be part of the EHS department supporting site-wide safety programs and environmental compliance initiatives.

Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist IV

Location: Clark, NJ

Pay Range: $37 per hr

• Support site-wide EHS programs with a focus on data analytics, regulatory compliance, and environmental permitting.
• Manage and analyze EHS data, develop dashboards, and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Coordinate environmental programs such as air permits, waste management, and recordkeeping activities.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, support communication campaigns, and promote a proactive safety culture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Approximately 7-10 years of relevant EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts) and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with EHS data, metrics, and reporting tools such as incident management systems or environmental tracking tools.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental regulations related to air permits, waste management, and wastewater.
