Project Engineer; Electrical​/Mechanical

About the Opportunity (Partnership Opportunity)

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Professional Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to collaborate on a growing portfolio of engineering and design projects. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or highly experienced engineering professional interested in building a long-term working partnership within a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive mindset to support project execution, client relationships, and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on electrical and/or mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion
• Review, develop, and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation
• Provide technical leadership and project oversight
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Support proposal development, project planning, and business growth initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and designers as needed

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, codes, and industry standards
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is a plus
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in long-term partnership opportunities
• Must have experience in MEP design projects.
• AutoCAD proficiency is a MUST.
• MUST be a CURRENT New Jersey Resident.
• Must be a Green Card holder or US Citizen
