Lab Technician III

Our client, a leading organization in the cosmetics and personal care industry, is seeking a Lab Technician III to join their team. As a Lab Technician III, you will be part of the R&I Microbiology Department supporting microbiological safety and integrity of products during development.

Job Title: Lab Technician III

Location: Clark, NJ

Pay Range: $28.67

• Perform microbial content tests on raw materials, bulk products, and finished units for various samples including sales/test market samples and consumer returns.
• Accurately evaluate, interpret, and record microbiological test results and prepare detailed reports.
• Identify microorganisms and determine microbial content in products, raw materials, and components.
• Conduct microbiological sampling and testing of DI water and perform environmental monitoring activities.
• Monitor and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and manage laboratory supplies inventory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field with 1-5 years of laboratory experience.
• Strong laboratory skills, including aseptic techniques and microbiological testing methods.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data reporting and analysis.
• Good understanding of GLP guidelines and laboratory safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
