Power BI Developer​/Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Power BI Developer/Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate with various business units to understand their data analysis and reporting needs, translating requirements into effective dashboards and reports that drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data visualization, and a solid understanding of data modeling principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business reporting requirements.
• Design and develop efficient data models within Power BI, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX.
• Build interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.
• Connect Power BI to diverse data sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, cloud warehouses) ensuring data integrity.
• Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and fast data refresh.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensure adherence to data governance standards.
• Document Power BI solutions including data models, reports, and dashboards.
• Provide user training and support to improve Power BI adoption across the organization.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and IT teams for seamless data integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI issues related to data quality and refresh schedules.
• Stay updated with new Power BI features, tools, and best practices to enhance BI capabilities.

• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX for creating complex measures and calculations.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational database querying and data manipulation.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into simple, meaningful visual insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., SAP Business Objects, Spotfire).
• Knowledge of Cloud data services such as GCP or Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of data visualization best practices and UX design principles.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
