What You Will Do

As a Hybrid Supply & Contract Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of finished good feasibility and component availability to service the monthly production plan. You will work in close collaboration with internal and external partners to establish realistic short- and long-term plans that balance demand with operational constraints. Acting as a strategic lead, you will support contract manufacturers in all supply chain functions—including inventory management, supply chain mapping, and performance reviews—while proactively challenging root causes to ensure agility goals and internal KPIs are consistently met.

Job Accountabilities
  • Demonstrate the agility to manage either the component portfolio or sub-contracting production plans (or a blend of both) based on the current supply chain landscape and departmental priorities.
  • Evaluate constraints and summarize plan feasibilities for Master Schedulers, providing solutions for bottlenecks whether they occur in raw material supply or external manufacturing capacity.
  • Implement and maintain strategic supply chain agreements with suppliers, including material release protocols and inventory management strategies (VMI, JIT) across assigned categories.

  • Manage and audit critical SAP/ERP parameters (lot sizes, lead times, safety stocks, and procurement types) to ensure the system accurately reflects the needs of both component and sub-contracting flows.
  • Execute the full procurement lifecycle: placing orders, verifying deliveries, and managing all required documentation (COAs, Packing Lists, etc.) for both raw components and finished goods.
  • Execute Bill of Materials (BOM) accurately and manage the return-to-vendor process for any quality issues discovered during the production or receiving cycle.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal support groups (Quality, Finance, Purchasing, R&D) and external vendors to ensure the production plan and sub-contracting schedules are met.
  • Develop logistics requirements and supply chain maps with suppliers to improve lead times and delivery reliability.
