We are hiring immediately for a full‑time MECHANIC I position at L'Oreal – 30 Terminal Avenue, Clark, New Jersey 07066. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule:

Full time;
Monday through Friday. Hours may vary; more details will be provided during the interview.

Pay Range: $28.00 – $45.00 per hour.

Operate and maintain all equipment, including HVAC systems, high‑pressure boilers, generators and steam equipment. Read and record information from meters and gauges at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.

• Provide quality customer service by giving one‑on‑one attention to detail.
• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
• Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Visually inspect and listen to machines to identify causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to problem area.
• Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
• Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines and equipment; maintain equipment inventory.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders, welding torches) for machine and equipment repair.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
• Consistently demonstrate support of the department by striving for excellence.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Type I Refrigeration Certification.
• Valid Non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Prior experience supporting building equipment and process equipment is preferred.
