IT Project Manager, Data Science Manager
Contract duration: 6 month contract with potential for extension or conversion Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Innovation Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams in the execution of complex, large‑scale innovation projects. In this role, you will drive project scope definition, timelines, resources, cost, and risk management while applying structured project methodologies to accelerate delivery and enhance collaboration. You will serve as a key facilitator between technical, R&I, and business stakeholders—tracking progress, escalating risks, supporting governance decisions, and ensuring projects are milestone‑ready for senior leadership reviews.
As a change agent, you will champion continuous improvement in project execution, foster strong team engagement through workshops and coaching, and help embed a collaborative, high‑performance project culture.
- Lead R&I teams (Project Leader/Technical Contributors/Partners) through the delivery of complex projects utilizing project methodology & tools in the execution of innovation projects.
- Drive framing of project scope with all innovation partners and stakeholders, define the work plan / resources, and create and manage project timelines, identify milestones report on cost and risks.
- Track project progress, identify alerts to communicate to Stakeholders, and drive scenario planning to bring to governance meetings.
- Manage cross functional project teams, animate team meetings, facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions.
- Be the guarantor of effective risk management with the team: identification, assessment of criticality, and prevention / mitigation plans.
- Be an agent of change and continuously thrive to improve the way we are thinking and the way we are managing projects by contributing to the change in culture via coaching, training, communications applying the principles of organizational change management.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to ensure flawless progression of projects through milestones, including readiness of the project to be introduced to the Innovation reviews with Senior Management.
- Minimum of 0-3 years of business experience in Project Management supporting complex or large‑scale projects.
- Experience working in multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Experience in the personal care / cosmetic industry preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable expressing a contrary point of view, able to push for timely decisions.
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a science or engineering field;
Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable.
