Put your career into high gear with Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices! We’re looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Westfield, NJ area.

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work; managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and safeguarding the safety of team members.

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. The role includes ensuring complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance. Service Managers direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Required qualifications include: at least 18 years of age; legal authorization to work in the United States; and (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
