Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Clark facility is unique in the sense they have two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell to it, the teams in that building are producing natural flavorings and essential oils. The South building is the complete opposite, it will have savory and garlic smells because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy.

Shift/Working Hours 1st shift/ 630am-230pm
Key responsibilities- Prints and prepares manufacturing orders and related paperwork.
- Reads and follows manufacturing orders.
- Places loose or packaged material on scales and adds or removes portions of material to obtain specified weight as required to MO.
- Weighs partial ingredients (scoops and dumps) and records weights and lot numbers on manufacturing orders. Partial ingredient information is written on outside of partial containers that includes description, lot number, date, etc.
- Reads manufacturing order or formula to determine types and quantities of materials to weigh.
- Assesses material requirements for MO orders to determine if everything needed is available to make the mixes. Plan stock rotation to be sure first in, first out methodology.
- Calculates number of full containers, sacks, cartons, drums, etc., and partial weight containers that must be weighted out for all ingredients to cover mix requirements.
- Records weights of materials used for production records or maintains perpetual inventory of materials used and on hand.
- Prepares labels as required by manufacturing orders.
- Re-weighs remaining ingredient containers and records new weight, lot number, and date on outside before sealing and replacing into storage.
- Transfers certain unused ingredients to warehouse.
- Transfers weighed materials to production or storage areas.
- Stages full and partial containers on pallet boards for each mix.
- Sorts weighed materials into designated bins or containers, according to weight or type.
- Maintains organized and clutter-free partial ingredient storage area.
- Performs all other related duties as required.
- HS or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in process operation in which has been demonstrated a high degree of competence and understanding of process equipment.
- Problem solving ability and aptitude for learning and professional growth.
- Reading, writing and speaking in English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate forklifts and other equipment integral to the job functions.
- Must be able to see and distinguish between labels.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk through the warehouse.
- Must be certified to wear a respirator and follow all rules regarding respirator wear.
Factory environment with exposure to flavor, and basic product chemicals and raw materials.
Compensation DataThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
