Senior Chemist II, Analytical Chemistry & Stability – Clark, New Jersey

We are seeking a Senior Chemist II, Analytical Chemistry to join our team in Clark, New Jersey. In this role you will bring your expertise in LC and GC techniques to solve complex formulation challenges, develop and validate novel methods, and partner with brands and cross‑functional teams to deliver science‑backed insights.

• Lead stability testing, prioritizing workflows, ensuring data is accurate, traceable, and reported on time.
• Design, conduct, validate, and implement novel LC (UV & MS) and GC (FID/MS) methods and assays.
• Perform root‑cause analyses for non‑conformance events related to laboratory testing.
• Collect, process, and interpret analytical data, producing technical reports.
• Collaborate with brand development partners on product development initiatives.
• Maintain instrumentation, perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for LC/GC instruments.
• Stay current with consumer trends, analytical capabilities, ICH, GMP, and FDA regulations.
• Build relationships with cross‑functional teams and participate in international analytical communities.
• Champion quality culture, adhere to procedures, and bring a proactive mindset.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience
  : 5–7 years in analytical chemistry, with at least 5 years in LC (UV & MS) and GC (FID/MS) instrumentation.
• Technical Expertise
  :
  • Method development, validation, troubleshooting, experimental design.
  • Knowledge of ICH guidelines, GMPs, FDA regulations for OTC products.
  • Proficiency with laboratory data systems (CDS, LIMS, software).
  • Broad scientific knowledge and continuous learning.

• Base Salary Range: $90,200 – $128,500.
