Music Teacher, Music & Audio Production

Instruct students to develop individual and group performance skills on various music genres;
Help students understand and read music;
Creates lesson plans;
Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve;
Prepare concerts, organize rehearsals, and work with students on performances;
Prepare students for exams in music;
Create an enjoyable learning environment to inspire young minds and help them grow in appreciation of music;
Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
Must hold a WV Professional Teaching Certificate in Music PK-AD or K-12;
Ability to communicate & work effectively with school administrators, school personnel, & parents;
Demonstrates organization & management skills.
Salary based on experience and education level per TCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
