Position Summary:This job is primarily located in the southeastern part of the United States and requires some domestic travel (50% to 75%). Good communications skills and willingness to work with a wide variety of our existing and new customers is required. Position Responsibilities:- Responsible for direct sales of all assigned products and related accessories / consumables for Separation Science
- Travel assigned territory in domestic USA
- Territory Location – within the southeastern Region Including, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.
- Review and discuss LECO’s product offerings
- Sales preparation and presentations
- Arrange and participate in sample demonstrations
- Attend Trade Shows as required
- Maintain current customer relations management database for all activities involving customers and other LECO team members
- Ability to generate quotations for products to customers. This requires an understanding of the technical information of the products you are responsible of selling.
- Required to generate weekly sales activity reports to submit to management
- Work with Service / Applications / Technical Communications / Research & Development on customer issues, installations, samples, etc. as required
Certifications:
- BS Degree preferably in Chemistry, Material Science, or other related disciplines
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills
- Prior field sales and/or lab experience would be a plus
- Basic understanding of GC/MS technology will be a plus
- Ability to work within the USA without restrictions
