Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer in Clarksburg, WV for a 6 month contract assignment to drive the mechanical installation of large industrial facilities or combined cycle power plants. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and 3+ years of field experience, bridging design and execution to ensure multidisciplinary integration and safety.

Contract

$55 – 65 per hour

8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Support field construction activities, focusing on mechanical installation and execution.
• Coordinate daily work activities between home base engineering, on-site engineering, and construction teams.
• Interface with mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical teams to ensure proper system integration.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Ensure field installations comply with project standards, codes, and safety requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in field engineering, industrial construction, or power generation.
• Experience in power generation, energy, or industrial projects.
• Experience level:
  Experienced.
