Summary

E-INFOSOL LLC seeks a highly motivated Principal Systems Engineer III (Network) to be a full‑time employee in Pocatello, ;
Clarksburg, WV; or Huntsville, AL. The role involves design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, and addressing interoperability issues for various network components including switches, firewalls, load balancers, software‑defined networking, and private cloud requirements.

Job Description
  • Design, implement, and provide ongoing support for networking infrastructure within and between data centers.
  • Serve as the advanced subject‑matter expert for all data center network environments.
  • Create and maintain network infrastructure for both bare‑metal and virtual machines, configuring LAN, WAN, VLAN, SDN, firewall, and load balancer settings using OEM and third‑party tools, including virtual network tools (NSX) and services.
  • Provision and configure required networking for servers and applications.
  • Evaluate, improve, and maintain information security throughout the data center network infrastructure.
  • Monitor and correct network issues; develop recovery processes for failures and performance bottlenecks; provide real‑time alerts and implement proactive solutions, including redesign or technology refresh.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain system management tools for all data center network components.
  • Ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify solutions, and collaborate with developers to implement fixes.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention on tasks such as automated provisioning of addresses and VLANs with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Ensure technical documentation exists for all systems and is kept up to date, including inventory, patch levels, hostnames, property numbers, IP addresses, enclave details, processor and core counts, administrative passwords, certificates, and service accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Provide real‑time alerts and dashboard information on network performance and availability.
  • Document system configurations, including passwords, access controls, version numbers, patch levels, inventory details, and license keys.
  • Transition knowledge to government staff through training and assistance, applying industry best practices.
  • Provide real‑time reporting of provisioned and non‑provisioned resources such as bandwidth usage, availability, performance, and trends.
Qualifications
  • Active Top‑Secret clearance, with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position with a large organization.
  • Minimum of Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Dev Net Associate certifications.
