Insight Global is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to support a critical communications modernization initiative for a Federal agency within the Department of Justice. This individual will support enterprise Unified Communications, telecommunications, Audio/Visual (A/V), and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) environments that enable mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will work within highly secure classified and unclassified environments and assist with the deployment, integration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of communication platforms.

This is a mid-level engineering opportunity for a professional looking to expand their experience supporting large-scale federal communications infrastructure.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Support the design, implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of enterprise Unified Communications and telecommunications systems.
• Assist with the deployment, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of voice, video, collaboration, A/V, and VTC technologies.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, availability, and end-user experience.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple communications platforms and coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with government personnel and cross-functional technical teams to support operational and mission requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation plans, operational procedures, and system diagrams.
• Support system modernization initiatives and technology refresh efforts across communications environments.
• Assist with configuration management and change implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable security standards, policies, and zero-trust architecture requirements.
• Provide ongoing operational support for communications infrastructure in classified and unclassified environments.
