Behavioral Health/Psych LPN
Location:
West Virginia
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), weekdays, every other weekend
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health/Psych Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for adults in a behavioral health setting. The LPN will be responsible for supporting the nursing team and ensuring high-quality care for patients with various psychiatric disorders.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior.
- Assist with physical and emotional needs of patients.
- Implement safety protocols in accordance with facility procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in a behavioral health setting.
- Current LPN license in West Virginia or Compact license (pending license acceptable).
- Certifications:
BCLS, CPI, First Aid (CPI and First Aid can be obtained during orientation). - Experience managing patients with a range of psychiatric diagnoses.
