• 30% Supervises and performs direct patient care: taking and monitoring vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment of patients, treatments, taking and transcription of physician’s orders, drawing and documentation of ordered laboratory work.
• 20% Provides dialysis therapy: formulating dialysis plan per physician orders, weight and rate of ultrafiltration, verifying safety measures, administering medications, discontinuing dialysis per procedure, documenting all activity.
• 20% Analyzes patient assessments and lab data, notes concerns, communicates emergencies, patient life‑threatening complications and related incidents to supervisor, Medical Director, Regional Operations Director, Facility or Group Facility Administrator.
• 15% Assesses patient and family learning readiness and provides appropriate information on renal disease, dialysis treatment, medical regimen and its impact on health and well‑being; participates in development and implementation of patient’s short‑ and long‑term plan of care and monthly progress note.

At least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN; schedule:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4:15am‑5:30pm; shift differential for travel, paid mileage; location has 11 chairs, clinic uses Fresenius machines, schedules 1 RN and 2 Dialysis Techs per shift; compensation increases with training and responsibility.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from accredited school of nursing required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; three‑year diploma from accredited program may be substituted.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience working as a nurse.
• Experience (not required but helpful) in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
• Employment contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen and background check.
