** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing protocols, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support access control expectations.

+ Assist with badge checks, delivery screening, and contractor entry procedures while documenting daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
