Job DescriptionPOSTION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for lubrication, preventative maintenance, and repair for all equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed, including on-call availability for nights and weekends as required
- Electrical background is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a plus
- Skilled in operating lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine shop equipment is a plus
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interaction
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment
- Perform lubrication and preventative maintenance (PM) on mechanical equipment
- Assist the Electronic Technician with electrical and electronic duties
- Perform welding, machining, and millwright duties
- Assemble and install new mechanical equipment; enter work orders in the maintenance management system; read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Maintain all equipment in good running order; perform route checks and report deficiencies
- Ensure the job site is clean and free of hazards; follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Perform other duties as required
