Overview
Under general supervision, the Corrections Case Manager will function as a member of a team providing services to an assigned caseload of juveniles. The work includes providing individual and/or group counseling, assisting in the development and implementation of treatment programs, developing case histories, gathering social and placement history, treatment and court information on juveniles, writing reports and recommendations regarding juvenile behavior, placement, and performance for the circuit courts, acting as a role model for the juvenile, and serving as the liaison between the juvenile, legal representatives, family members, treatment providers, and court officials.
Compiles information for juveniles’ involvement in crime and criminal activities, records database statistics, and recommends treatment programs to assist the juvenile in controlling and overcoming problems. Performs other duties as assigned.
