Software Engineer - Mid Level

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release.
• Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product.
• Expertise in one or more programming language is required.
• Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/project team. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects or assignments. May assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments.
• Communicates with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.) and explains technical solutions, practices and procedures to others within the organization.

• Typically requires a BS degree and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
• Expertise in front‑end web application development in one or more programming languages is required.

  SQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Agile project management software such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.

• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices interfaces.
• Experience with automated testing (end‑to‑end testing, regression testing, integration testing, etc.), Spring Boot, Hibernate (including native queries), and CI/CD pipelines such as Gitlab.
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) tools (Hashicorp Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible).
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch, Elastic Search).
• Working knowledge and experience with the following tools and practices – they will be used to complete Software Engineering tasks: SAFe 6, EDB Postgres, IDEs such as Eclipse or Intelli
  
  J, Git, Python, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Argo, Docker, Red Hat Linux, SQL Developer, Jira, Bitbucket, Open Shift, Smart Bear Ready
