Description
We are seeking a Junior‑Level Software Engineer with full‑stack capabilities to design, build, test and maintain scalable software systems. This role will play a part in creating front‑end and back‑end services, developing APIs, and collaborating with the development team to deliver reliable, high‑performance applications.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release.
- Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages is required.
- Works on day‑to‑day objectives with limited impact beyond the scope of own work area/project team. Works under supervision on less complex projects/assignments.
- Solves simple, routine technical problems following established procedures and policies. Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories and concepts within own technical specialty.
- Communicates with peers to explain facts, basic analysis, processes and practices related to area.
- Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or prior relevant, equivalent experience in software development and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
- Expertise in front‑end web application development in one or more programming languages is required.
- Knowledge of working with relational databases (Postgre
SQL, MySQL, etc.). - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Agile project management software such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices interfaces.
- Experience with automated testing experience in end‑to‑end testing, regression testing, integration testing, etc.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Hibernate using native queries.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Gitlab.
- Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) tools (Hashicorp Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible).
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch, Elastic Search).
- A working knowledge and experience with the following are preferred as they will be used to complete Software Engineering tasks: SAFe 6, EDB Postgres, IDE such as Eclipse or Intelli
