Software Engineer - Mid Level

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer with experience in full-stack web application development. The role includes designing, building, testing, and maintaining scalable software systems, creating front-end and back-end services, developing APIs, and collaborating with the development team to deliver reliable, high‑performance applications.

• Write and maintain source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in software releases.
• Perform computer programming, documentation, configuration management, testing, and bug‑fixing to support the software release life cycle.
• Apply expertise in one or more programming languages.
• Work independently on moderately complex projects and assist other technical staff as needed.
• Communicate with colleagues across multiple areas, explaining technical solutions and procedures to others within the organization.

• BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Expertise in front‑end web application development in one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot).
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Postgre
  
  SQL or MySQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.

• Experience with front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices interfaces.
• Experience with automated testing (end‑to‑end, regression, integration).
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate (including native queries).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Git Lab.
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Hashi Corp Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible).
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch, Elastic Search).
