ECM Energy Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Clarksburg, WV. This position focuses primarily on preventative maintenance and light repairs for our light-duty fleet vehicles.

Position SummaryThe Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on company light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles. This role plays a key part in maintaining safety, minimizing downtime, and extending the life of company assets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, etc.)
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance
- Diagnose and complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Coordinate with operations to schedule routine maintenance
- Ensure shop area is clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with parts ordering and inventory tracking as needed
- Respond to light emergency repair needs when required
- Previous experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic preferred
- Experience working on light-duty trucks and fleet vehicles
- Basic knowledge of electrical, brake, suspension, and engine systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
