The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LPN supports patient treatment plans, monitors patient conditions, administers medications, and contributes to a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.

- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies
- Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
- Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans and care instructions
- Maintain infection prevention and patient safety practices
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Support a culture of compassion, safety, and teamwork
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Licensure/Certification s- Current Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Compact State license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- One (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Experience in acute care, long-term care, or clinic settings preferred
