Qualifications and Desired Experience
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid and current licensing or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience within a K-12 educational environment is a plus
  • Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to student assessments and special education
Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and assessments
  • Interpret assessment results to develop appropriate educational recommendations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students as needed
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
  • Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and academic accommodations
  • Assist in crisis management and intervention efforts as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records following district and legal guidelines
