Location: Clarkston, Georgia (Onsite)

3M is seeking Assembly Technician candidates in Clarkston, Georgia!

• Full-time 2nd and 3rd Shifts
• Starting rate: $20.21
• New hires start with 3 weeks paid vacation

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws. U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain non-U.S. persons. To comply with these laws, and in conjunction with the review of candidates for those positions within 3M that may present access to export controlled technical data, 3M must assess employees  U.S. person status, as well as citizen ships.

The questions asked in this application are intended to assess this and will be used for evaluation purposes only. The decision whether or not to file or pursue an export license application is at 3M Company s sole election.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Assembly Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Assemble/package manufactured products in accordance to applicable procedures
• Accurately record production data
• Performing all casting and impregnation production processes including casting, drying, sintering, and impregnating radomes
• Operating equipment such as furnaces, forklifts, presses, pallet movers, and other heavy equipment
• Identifying problems and working with process engineers through to resolution

Minimum requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as part of the selection process.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include:

• Minimum six (6) months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment
