Job OverviewTeam Nextar, an authorized retailer for Metro by T‑Mobile with over 260 locations nationwide, is looking for successful Retail Store Managers to join our management team. As a Metro by T‑Mobile Wireless Store Manager for Team Nextar, you will be responsible for directly working with all team members to ensure they are well‑versed in our selling process, Metro by T‑Mobile products and services, and ensuring our retail locations attain operational standards of excellence and profitability goals.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in retail and/or customer‑facing environments, preferably in the wireless industry, and be skilled in delivering an excellent customer experience that includes an effective sales process, product and service knowledge, and the ability to manage any type of customer concern or need with professionalism and a positive attitude.

- Interview, hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Metro by T‑Mobile Wireless Sales Associates.
- Meet or exceed personal and team key performance indicators each month.
- Coach/mentor your team every day to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure your assigned location operates under the guidelines of both Metro by T‑Mobile and Nextar Telecom.
- Ensure all promotional roll‑outs, inventory procedures, and other duties assigned by Nextar Telecom leadership are executed timely and correctly.
- Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar retail role, preferably with post‑ or prepaid wireless businesses, managing team members.
- Proof of achievement in prior sales and leadership roles is required.
- Ability to lead, coach, and inspire your team members.
- Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology, products, and customer service.
- Ability to travel to our various locations within your market as business needs dictate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
