SummaryWe are looking for a professional Residential Maintenance Technician with residential building maintenance skills to assist with the day‑to‑day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment. This position will coordinate and complete all requested work, assign priorities, and follow up on completion.

Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance work and make repairs to properties as needed, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and light electrical
- Work closely with Property Manager/ Superintendent to coordinate tasks
- Coordinate with tenants to set times to access apartments for repairs
- Efficiently manage incoming service requests
- Repair walkways and exteriors
- Track time and log activities and work completed for each job
- Complete renovation projects as needed
- Perform high‑quality work with attention to detail
- Participate in on‑call rotations with the Superintendent to respond to tenant requests and issues, with compensation for travel to the property
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with a successful track record as maintenance tech/handyperson
- Experience and knowledge in construction and maintenance
- Able to handle a wide variety of repairs (painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with tenants and other staff
- Proficient with email, text messages, and apps for business purposes
- Reliable vehicle to travel around property locations (where applicable)
- Owns all tools needed for general handyperson tasks—considered a plus
$21.00 – $23.00 per hour
