Heritage Imaging is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support remote echocardiography services at an assigned healthcare facility in Eastern Washington. In this role, you will serve as the onsite connection between patients, facility staff, and remote sonographers, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient patient experience throughout the examination process. You will assist with patient preparation, support remote imaging technology during exams, and provide post-procedure care while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and service.

Status:
Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $25 - $28/hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

• Welcome patients, verify patient information, and assist with intake and exam preparation.
• Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and supplies for remote echocardiography procedures.
• Assist remote sonographers during examinations by positioning and supporting approved remote imaging equipment and accessories.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety while maintaining communication between patients and remote clinical staff.
• Complete post-exam patient care, room turnover, cleaning, and documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, safety, and emergency response protocols.

• Comfortable learning and working with remote healthcare technology and medical equipment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote clinical team.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a direct patient care setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technology skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; cardiology or diagnostic imaging experience is a plus.
