As part of the talented Thunder Jet team, you will be required to cover aluminum and wood parts with carpet and vinyl by glue or stapling. This position requires a high level of personal dependability demonstrated through perfect attendance, a high level of productivity demonstrated through hustle, a high level of teamwork demonstrated through readiness to learn and assist in other jobs and a high aptitude for quality demonstrated by work that is free from defects as well as a high level of safety that is demonstrated by the absence of personal injury or work accidents.

• Adhere carpet to metal and wood parts with glue using various tools.
• Trim excess carpet using scissors and/or utility knives.
• Preassemble hardware using air rivet gun or air drill.

• Carry various sizes of metal, wood, and carpet pieces to and from workstations from 2 to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Read a tape measure.
• Work in a safe manner at all times.
• Be 18 years of age and successfully pass a background check.
• Maintain good attendance.

• Be familiar with hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials. The employee may occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.

The anticipated pay range for this position ranges grade 2 ($19.20-$20.20). The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
