Position Overview:

As part of the talented Thunder Jet team, you will be responsible for installing and wiring 12-volt electrical components, water hoses, hatches, doors, dashes, pumps, engines etc. for all boat models.

Essential Functions:

  • Aptitude to learn mechanical components and assembly.
  • Ability to understand electrical wiring schematics, work orders, and work instructions while being highly organized in part assembly while installing various parts.
  • Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools. Shape, mount, cut, clamp and install various fittings.
  • Work in an innovative team environment to produce the highest quality of aluminum boats on the market.
  • Good time management.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Dependable attendance is required.
  • Read a tape measure.
  • Be able to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Work overtime to meet production needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous history in wiring, boating and mechanical field.

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.

The anticipated pay range for this position ranges grade 2.5-3.0 $ 20.20-$21.75. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
