Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm, working 36 - 40 hours per week based on staffing needs.
ResponsibilitiesThe Perioperative Certified Nursing Assistant provides essential clinical and environmental support within the perioperative environment. This role focuses on ensuring efficient room turnovers and safe patient care and transport. The assistant works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to facilitate high‑quality patient outcomes and streamlined surgical workflow. Duties include pre‑operative transfer of patients, pre‑surgical prep, positioning assistance, OR room turnover, and supply management.
Duties can be expanded as necessary.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
- Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.
- Medical background and previous hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to take direction and follow through
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods (8-10 hours)
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and patients.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping required for room turnover and patient positioning
