As an OR Scrub RN Travel Nurse, you will assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients during their procedures. Scrub OR Nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.

Key responsibilities include:

• Selection and handling of surgical instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Inventory of surgical items pre‑ and post‑procedure.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication and report adverse reactions.
• Ensure that the correct procedure is being performed on the correct patient.
• Monitor and observe the patient during surgery and respond to potential complications alongside the physician.

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse, and/or RN first assistant.
• Active RN license and required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods and to lift up to 20 pounds routinely (up to 50 pounds when moving patients).
• Knowledge of operating room safety and infection control.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment.

. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
