Certifications/ Licences:
- BLS
- PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must have strong Pre, PACU and Phase II skills.
- Schedule is 4 - 10's with variable schedule and shared on-call rotation.
- SSSU/PACU Nursing care duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area which includes:
Day surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic and hospital needs of conscious sedation for special procedures. - Skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care, recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications.
