Registered Nurse – Endoscopy | Clarkston, WA | 13 Weeks Contract

- Position: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy
- Location: Clarkston
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 4x10
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2550 to $2750
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
- Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for procedures
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and moderate sedation as prescribed
- Continuously monitor patient vital signs, oxygenation, and cardiac status throughout procedures
- Assist physicians during upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and procedural emergencies
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, medications, and discharge instructions
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of specimens collected during procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and endoscopy reprocessing standards
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care
- Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- Experience with moderate sedation and recovery care preferred
- Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal procedures, patient monitoring, and procedural nursing
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
