Operating Room / PACU Nurse
Recruiting for an RN to start ASAP. Must have strong Pre, PACU, and Phase II skills. Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts with a variable schedule and shared on-call rotation. Nursing care duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area. This includes day surgery, endoscopy lab, post-anesthesia care unit, and pre-operative clinic. Also involves hospital needs for conscious sedation for special procedures.
Utilize skills in nursing assessment, including perioperative education and care. Recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications. Position urgency is normal.
