Registered Nurse – PACU in Clarkston, Washington. Travel assignment starts 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks in a long-term care (nursing home) setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,273 to $2,425 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 10 hours, days, four days per week, with a shared on-call rotation. - Provide comprehensive peri-operative and PACU nursing care, including monitoring post-anesthesia recovery, airway management, vital signs, pain control, and complication recognition.
- Conduct peri-operative assessments, deliver patient education, and support discharge planning and instructions.
- Float to the applicable Outpatient Services areas as needed, including day surgery, endoscopy lab, pre-operative clinic, and related procedures requiring conscious sedation.
- Identify post-anesthesia and post-operative complications early; respond promptly and collaborate with the anesthesia and surgical teams.
- Document care accurately, communicate changes to the care team, and uphold patient safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions, appropriate perioperative care, and adherence to care plans.
- Active RN license in Washington state (current and unrestricted)
- Strong pre-operative, PACU, and Phase II peri-operative skills
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts and participate in a shared on-call rotation
- Willingness to float to multiple service areas within outpatient/perioperative contexts as needed
- Effective nursing assessment, education, and communication skills
- Prior experience in PACU/SSSU and perioperative environments preferred
