Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

$2350.08/week –

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring patient safety, education, and quality outcomes. Flexibility across departments is required to meet patient care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and identify individualized needs to develop effective care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Implement infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment using proper procedures.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, responses, and changes comprehensively and timely.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment safely, troubleshooting as needed and referencing manuals when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team and patients’ families, providing shift reports and critical updates.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active WA nursing license.
• Proven experience in MSU, PCU, or Stepdown units with a broad skill set.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
• Knowledge of infection control, restraint policies, and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to flex across departments and adapt to varying patient needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
