7:00AM - 3:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $68 - $74/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an OR for a temporary assignment in Clarkston, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a OR:

• Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families
• Supervise assigned team members
• Render nursing care to all patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards
• Provide care for patients in the operating room as a circulating and/or scrub nurse
• Serve as a teacher to ensure safe and therapeutically effective nursing care
• Maintain the work area
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage
• Utilize nursing assessment skills including recognizing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Maintain current Washington State or Multi State RN license
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
• Maintain current ACLS and PALS certifications
