RN – SSSU/PACU

Clarkston, WA | Outpatient Services

Contract | 4x10-hour shifts with variable schedule; shared on-call rotation for PACU

• Provide SSSU/PACU nursing care with float coverage across the full Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures
• Perform nursing assessments utilizing strong skills in Pre-op, Post-op, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion
• Deliver peri-operative education and care to patients throughout the continuum of their surgical experience
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications in a timely and clinically appropriate manner
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation for PACU coverage as needed

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of two years of SSSU, PACU, Pre-op, or Post-op nursing experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in Pre-op, Post-op, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion settings
• Ability to float to all areas within Outpatient Services as needed

• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience with conscious sedation for special procedures
