Position OverviewAs part of the talented Thunder Jet team, this General Maintenance Worker will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, ensuring they meet safety and functionality standards through various maintenance tasks.
Essential Functions- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on equipment and facilities.
- Use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Solid understanding of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work and carpentry.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, local building codes, and company policies.
- Work with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and staff.
- Assist in seasonal yard needs and housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Possess and maintain a legal driver’s license.
- Must complete forklift training.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, vocational courses, or apprenticeships in relevant fields are preferred.
- Prior experience (1‑3+ years) as a maintenance worker or technician in facilities, property management, or industrial settings.
- Basic or higher computer skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Self‑starter, team player with good safety awareness.
The anticipated pay range for this position is grade 3 $ 20.95–$21.75 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors, including job‑related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

Working Conditions- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers.
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; the noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.
