Electricians and Maintenance Mechanics

Family owned and operated for over 75 years, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are recruiting for Electrician and Maintenance Mechanics at Pictsweet's Clarksville, AR facility. These positions are responsible for providing maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, compressed air, processing equipment, and steam systems. These are safety-sensitive positions. This role ensures all safety systems are in place for the production of quality food products manufactured under clean and safe conditions.

• Ensure full compliance with government agencies and internal standards such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HARPC, GMPs, Housekeeping, Allergen Segregation, etc.
• Work with moderate supervision, providing maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, compressed air, processing equipment, and steam systems.
• Perform proactive maintenance and refrigeration repairs, mechanical and electrical repairs, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and processing equipment.
• Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment and effectively interact with plant personnel to achieve plant and individual goals.
• Assist with maintenance shop cleanliness, general cleanup, mobile equipment operations, building and grounds maintenance, and plumbing standards.
• Maintain functional knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Minimize operational downtime by maintaining facility equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Basic understanding of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems; 1+ years of experience or equivalent preferred.
• At least 5+ years of experience as an industrial electrician.
• Associate's Degree or a 2-year Trade School Diploma in Electrical Maintenance, Electronics, or related field.
• Basic computer skills for logging information, processing work orders, and documentation.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual skills are helpful but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence, motivate, and lead within a team.
• Ability to conform to scheduling requirements, including rotating shifts and being on-call.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain high alertness and concentration during safety-sensitive tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and in non-climate-controlled or cold environments.
• Prolonged standing, bending, pulling, walking on hard surfaces, reaching, and lifting are required.
• Repetitive motion with arms and hands.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent attendance is required.
