Job Details:

Rough Terrain Forklift Operator

• Rough Terrain Forklift operator is responsible for transporting full/empty cage modules to & from cage dump and live haul trailer.
• Ensure that cages are in good repair prior to placing them back on trailer.
• Ensure Tyson Animal Welfare policies are being followed.
• Stop and lower forks when pedestrians are on the loading pad.
• Maintain steady pace to keep up with line speed.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Maintain & inspect their equipment and report any deficiencies to management.

• Good communication skills
• Requires a Tyson Rough terrain forklift license.
• Operators are required to inspect their equipment daily.
• Trained in Tyson Animal Welfare policies.
• This position requires the use of steel toe shoes.
• The physical ability to sit throughout the day
• Step on/off a forklift safely.

• Must be able to work outside in the elements.
• Must be able to maintain safety procedures during wet/icy conditions.

Must have at least 3-month Operator experience within the last 10 years listed on the application. Experience can be listed from a combination of employers if it is at least 3 months
