Assist Store Manager in managing Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products.;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using tools such as Current Ads / Planners and order guides.;
Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing standards, and safe handling of perishable foods.;
Record Perishable Markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences; train on grading and re-packaging to minimize markdowns.;
Accurately record inventory levels and assist in addressing customer needs and requests in a timely manner..
