911 & IFT Dispatcher

We are seeking a calm, organized Dispatcher to handle 911 emergencies and interfacility transport (IFT) calls. You will coordinate EMS units, communicate with hospitals and field personnel, and ensure timely, efficient responses.
Responsibilities- Receiving and prioritizing 911 and IFT calls
- Dispatching EMS units and monitoring their status
- Communicating with hospitals, patients, and field personnel
- Maintaining accurate records of all calls and activities
- Following EMS dispatch protocols and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous 911 or EMS dispatch experience preferred
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with CAD systems and medical terminology a plus
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring communications systems.
- Capability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
