Thrive Early Learning Center is growing, and we are looking for a warm, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Enjoys supporting afternoon transitions and end‑of‑day routines

Can maintain structure while keeping things calm and joyful

Works well with a teaching team

Is dependable and punctual

You will help:

Supervise children during afternoon play and learning activities

Support classroom teachers with transitions and clean‑up

Maintain safe ratios in accordance with Tennessee DHS regulations

Communicate positively with families at pick‑up

Model calm, respectful behavior at all times

18 years or older

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience in child care or early childhood preferred

Must pass background check per TN DHS licensing

CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)

Education in Early Childhood is a plus but not required.
