Description
The Department of Educational Specialties is a part of the Martha Dickerson Eriksson College of Education at Austin Peay State University.
On a continuous basis, the department is seeking qualified part‑time and temporary instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in special education, behavior management, instructional technology, educational leadership, research, curriculum, and instruction. The department offers on‑ground, online, and hybrid courses.
Number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester depending on the department's needs.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeach undergraduate and graduate courses in special education, behavior management, instructional technology, educational leadership, research, curriculum, and instruction as needed by the department.
Physical RequirementsExert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
RequiredMinimum Qualifications
- Masters or doctoral degree in Instructional Technology, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
