Your expertise
- bachelor [or master's] degree or equivalent years of work experience in a related field. ideally 7-10 years of experience as CICS/MQ Engineer focused on a large z/OS SMS environment
- Good technical skills in Web Sphere MQ on z/OS which must include some knowledge of MQ Clustering, SSL, and Queue Sharing
- Good technical skills in CICS on z/OS which must include knowledge of latest CICS technologies such as Liberty/JVM Servers, Web Services, CICS Transaction Gateway, TLS Certificates, and High Availability setup
- Possess good general PC and MS Office skills
- Be a team player with good organisational and communication skills
- Possess the ability to quickly envisage the operating landscape of the bank and the specific scope of the project engaged in
- Have the capacity to quickly grasp an understanding of all the processes necessary to achieve the allotted tasks
